Ani Hope

Ani Hope is a thriller/action novelist
who's passion for writing began at an early age. Though only
having completed one full book, she has written many tens of
thousands of words since she first picked up a keyboard and can never
fully express the thrill she gets from the art. She is currently
working on one independent novel,
Rescue, and is excited about the course it
is taking. Aside from novel writing, she has written the lyrics to
over 150 songs and is frequently adding to that collection. She has
also written many short stories and enjoys those nearly as much as
novels. Her goal in writing is to spread the light of Christ. Having
battled darkness herself, Ani knows the value and gift of being set
free and wants to share the beauty of that gift through her work. She
pulls lessons and values from scripture and the small amount of life
experience she has had, along with watching those older than her and
listening to the lessons they share. She enjoys all kinds of writing,
but tends to write more adventure stories with some mild romantic
twists and unexpected plot turns. She is known to be more character
driven rather than plot driven in almost all of her work.
Other than writing, her main interest
is in singing and recording her own covers of her favorite songs. She
sings everything from Italian Opera to Rock and is almost constantly
listening to music. Her favorite things to do are spend time with her
very best friends and family and loves quiet time with God. She loves
McDonalds french fries and Wendy's Frosties and has an obsession with
gummies, especially when writing. She also enjoys some photography, blogging, looking at pictures of the beaches she hopes to see one day and daydreaming.
She is very excited to be working on
her first co-authoring project with Ian Steele and has long admired
his work for its clarity of message, strength and diversity of
characters and realistic style/execution.
Ian Steele
Action novelist and inspirational writer Ian Steele is a
freshman student at a local community college near his hometown of Dothan, Alabama,
where he lives with his six of his seven siblings and parents, along with his
epic dog Red in a small brick house just outside the city. Best known for his
action novels
Target,
Compensate and
Protectee, along with his association with Kingdom Pen Magazine,
Ian has been writing since he was in middle school and has completed four
novels and is currently working on his fifth. His writes based on his
experiences in life, his faith in Christ, and his overactive imagination that
he attributes most of his plots to. “I take my values from the Bible. I take my
ideas from life, and I get my plots from my imagination. I daydream about all
the stupid, crazy, wild things I wish I could get away with, and then I write
about them instead. If it doesn’t work, I just blow something up. Because I’m
always dreaming about building a bomb.”
Aside from his passion for writing, Ian also enjoys
occasional amateur photography, traveling, Coca-Cola, going to the beach and
playing with his dog. He also has a growing passion for firearms, and his
favorite thing to do is spend time with close friends and family.
He’s writing with Ani Hope because: “I like her writing.
It’s fun, and she has a brilliance for character plots. So I asked her if she
wanted to write a book with me, and she said yes. Then I asked her if she would
submit to a breathalyzer. No, I didn’t do that.”
